C3 China/S.E. Asia - SAFETY - EHS Century 3’s commitment to EHS on every project is clear “ZERO incidents” and Century 3 has adopted a ZERO tolerance policy for all safety infringements, unsafe work practices and environmental destruction. To achieve this in China requires a commitment to EHS by all stake holders on the project. Therefore, before a project has broken ground, Century 3 will meet with all stakeholders to ensure they understand the EHS goals, procedures, requirements and have committed the required resources to carry these out on site. Each of our projects will have a clear and robust EHS program, followed by routine audits and inspections to ensure best practices in all aspects of our projects are adhered to. Century 3 employs EHS Managers, engineers and supervisors, who are responsible for the ongoing education of Century 3 staff and site personnel on EHS guidelines, performing inspections of every project on a regular basis, and reporting all potential EHS risks. Our experience has shown us that in China / S.E. Asia rewards for good behavior tend to work better than punishment. Therefore when each project reaches a pre-determined number of man-hours without a lost time incident, all site staff are rewarded. We are proud of our commitment to EHS and our EHS record in S.E.
