History.  Century 3, Inc. (C3) was started in 1977 in Greenville, South Carolina, by its three founders: Howard Avery, Reid Eason, and Glen Bunton. All were mechanical and process engineers/designers, and together they had accumulated 100 years of industry experience. C3 began as a self-perform industrial contractor with strengths in piping, rigging, and mechanical and electrical equipment installation for manufacturing companies in the United States southeastern region. We have expanded our capabilities over the years to meet clients’ changing needs.

Services.  Today we are a full-service company and have performed site selection, master planning, facility relocation, process equipment installation, engineering design, procurement and sourcing, and construction management for complex industrial and manufacturing facility projects.

Industries.  C3 has worked with Fortune 500 clients in diverse industries such as aerospace and avionics, automotive, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, consumer products, electronics and semiconductors, energy (biomass, solar, wind, hydro), food and beverage, and other general manufacturing.

Locations.  We operate in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and have extensive project experience across the larger countries of the United States and China.
