Plant Relocation

Globally the economy is on the move like never before. Century 3 has a strong presence in parts of the world where industrial opportunities are especially dynamic and mobile- in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

No matter where in the world you want to go, C3 knows how to get you there. In the Americas we have done many plant relocations for a wide variety of customers- from avionics manufacturing to food processing lines- and from California to Florida, Ohio to South Carolina, and Canada to Mexico.

Asia has 60% of the world population and China's economy is growing more than 10% per year. Policies for foreign investment are favorable, so many companies from the U.S. and Europe are relocating plants to the region. C3 China is familiar with local regulations and resources and is ideally positioned in China to assist you with all or any part of your plant relocation.

Many of our clients today are headquartered in Europe. C3 has been their first choice for plant relocation and equipment installation to the U.S.

When an avionics manufacturer sought to leave New Jersey for the warmer climate of South Carolina, and bring with it its electronics and avionics test facility, C3 provided the logistics, expertise and manpower for the plant relocation.

When a leading prepared food manufacturer needed to consolidate some of its operations, they contracted with C3 for plant relocation from Texas to Tennessee despite winter storms and treacherous conditions.

A major electrical parts fabricator twice relocated its gear manufacturing plant to new and improved facilities, and both times called upon C3's expertise to organize, coordinate and execute the plant relocation.

Our staff conducts inspection and planning visits to both the source and the target sites before initiating the plant relocation. We then begin the task of match-marking, unwiring, disconnecting and disassembling all that needs to be shipped to the target location before the plant relocation gets under way.

Once the initial phase of the plant relocation is completed we make every effort to man the reinstallation with the same craftsmen who performed the disassembly work. Our vast plant relocation experience has shown us many ways to realize significant productivity gains by strategically assigning our crews to shorten learning curves, reducing schedules, speeding turnarounds, and creating project savings for our clients.
